Guidi stated that music is a common language among nations, adding he believes that music could be an international alphabet.
The musician and his band performed on a stage in Tehran as part of the events of the 37th edition of the Fajr Music Festival on Monday.
“I am familiar with the Iranian music and I know that it is very beautiful,” he told Iranian media.
Mohammad Allahyari, the head of the festival, has said that the gala would run until February 18.
The Fajr Music Festival is the most prestigious music festival in Iran.
It includes national and international competition sections.
The Fajr festivals coincide with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
